These hot weather caps were first issued in the early 1960s to troops station in hot weather areas. Sateen style OD green fabric outer base, and leather sweatband. To be originally warn with OG507 uniform, these are the exact same as the ones issued out in Vietnam! And in a livable size! Will look great with OG107 or Slant pocket uniforms!
We were fortunate enough to find the original factory box, and the factory inner boxes! absolutely fantastic condition, just give the leather a wipe down. Like all leather products, they hold moister and collect unwanted dirt.
