The earliest we have seen were dated 1974. These packs had special straps and frames that differed from what we know today. These straps are part from that first generation of ALICE pack. Notice the elongated padding that extends past the angle and only one strap having quick release. These shoulder pads are hard to find as it is let alone as a complete set. Will possibly have some very light rust, oxidation, missing paint. Some wear, light discoloration, padding is firm, has little to no discoloration.
