One of the easy to spot differences was the deletion of the \"visor\" section, opting for a downward slope. This was to make looking up simpler and keeping soldiers from exposing their head while concealed behind cover. Another difference is that the MICH-2000 helmet has a more compact lower design, making overall movability easier, especially when aiming with rifles. Lastly, liner and chinstraps were updated to a superior removable foam inserts for needed comfort and a more secure strap system.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis helmet is constructed out of 1\/4\" ABS plastic giving it a kevlar-like thickness appearance.
